Marie Davidson has always been a rule-breaker. The French-Canadian producer has a reputation as a transgressive force in dance music. For the first time, Marie Davidson is coming to F2 on Wednesday, February 5.

Each release delved deeper into her dualistic relationship with nightlife, incorporating a wider range of influences, from Detroit techno to Italo disco. 

Her upcoming sixth album, City of Clowns (2025), marks a return to the club. The techno-thump and scathing spoken-word delivery resurface at times, but the pop structures and melodic sensibilities also remain. "It's linking back to what I was doing pre-pandemic, but with a bit of an evolution," she comments on the sonic blend. "I didn't want to just repeat myself."
